Star of Hope Foundation
Star of Hope is a Bulgarian registered foundation, which was started in 1999. It is registered as a non-profit, non-government charity organization, which supports predominantly abandoned children, orphans, children and adults with special needs, poor families and prisoners. It offers a variety of social services to underprivileged people in Bulgaria with the purpose to assist in maximizing their quality of life.
Star of Hope Foundation is licensed by the State Agency of Child Protection for working with underprivileged children in Bulgaria. We have also been registered within the Bulgarian Ministry of Labour and Social policy for providing social services to underprivileged people.

News
On October 12th, 2011, Star of Hope organized a visit to the Bulgarian Parliament of the pupils from the Knjaz Boris I Special Needs Vocational Training Boarding School in Sofia.
In September 2011, Vessy and Veronika started their studies in the Filaretova Medical College in Sofia. The girls are part of our Future & Hope Programme – Half-way Houses for vulnerable young people.
July 14th – 20th, 2011, we held a camp in Sapareva Banya for underprivileged teenagers from Sofia and Strumjani Municipality. The camp had a strong emphasis on Prevention of Antisocial Behaviour.
